The Asparagus Delima

Tici pie is learning to ride her bike!
This picture is just funny because of Daivia! I mean seriously that is a hilarious position!

The flower the Dai got from Lola and Lolo for her Birthday! They are about to be planted!

Dad was a huge help!

The goal: to keep the flowers from being plucked by two little girls!

The question I pose to you is what do you do when you discover that asparagus has been growing on your land all on its own? Do you cut and eat it or do you just say, "How nice!" and leave it alone?
We were faced with this decision. Do we risk our stomachs and eat the wild asparagus or do we go to Safeway and buy it for $4.99 lb.? I was in an asparagus delima and I knew what I wanted to do but I tend to be a chicken at times. So I cooked it up and let Nathan eat it first!
We are all alive and no gut aches to report! I am looking forward to cutting the rest of the asparagus soon!

This picture is to tell you that Nathan moved the horses next door on our neighbors property. I am sad because it looks empty when I look out in our field. But the horses are happy and it is only for a short time and they will be back!

Talk to you soon!

It's Dai Dai's Day!

Daivia Joy is truly our divine joy! She is beautiful and funny and has tricks up her sleeves that only Dai can do in our family! She is 2 years old today! Emotions can run high at the thought that she is no longer my baby baby but I look forward to the little girl that she is becoming and the woman of God that she will someday be! So today sweet Daivia is your day! That is why we have had waffles with powdered sugar for breakfast with a granola bar, we are watching Mulan, have painted her toes and fingers, and we will be dining at McDonald's with the play area for lunch at the request of the Birthday Girl!

Welcome to the world Daivia Joy!

She is 8 weeks old and it is her first time on the beach!

Spending some quality time with Lola!

First time at the pumpkin patch!

First time on a sled and in the snow!

Happy 1st Birthday!

She is a big sister now!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my adorable Daivia Joy!
